Twin mega-yachts, SeaDream I and II, accomodate 110-passengers, and are 4,260-tons. Formerly the Seabourn Sea Goddess I & II, built in 1984 and 1985 they were acquired by Cunard Line in 1986. In 2002 they were acquired by SeaDream Yacht Club with a complete redesigned and refit within the same year. Capacity was reduced to 110 passengers due to a few large suites that were added. There are no private balconies as they were built before these became standard features. SeaDream pursues corporate and incentive charter markets, however they will designate one ship primarily for those groups and the other for individual passengers.

Both ships are top of the line vessels with excellent cuisine, service, and itineraries. Itineraries include Caribbean, Eastern and Western Mediterranean, Greek Isles, and Transatlantic. Both ships offer a selection of sports equipment including, windsurfers, snorkel equiprment, paddle boats, jet skis and moutain bikes. Due to their size they can visit many of the smaller ports that larger ships do not visit. The experience offered aboard these ships is casual elegance with plenty of fun.

Entertainment:
Entertainment is offered at the intimate Piano Bar, quiet music is offered in the Main Lounge and movies are shown on deck on deck under the stars. In some ports, local cultural entertainers will be brought onboard. SeaDream yacht guests can play 50 championship courses within the state-of-the-art Golf Simulator. Additionally guests will find a elegant library that is cozy and quiet, with books, DVD's, magazines, newspapers, board games and computers.

Public Areas:
The décor on board is quite chic with a relaxed atmosphere. All public areas have been refurbished and offer rich-looking wood paneling, fabrics and accessories. The Main Salon on Deck 3 offers a bar and seats that circle a small dance floor with stage. Just outside is a pool and bar. On deck 4 is the library where guests will find DVDs for in-suite watching, the Piano Bar, and a small casino with two blackjack tables and six slot machines. Besides the main Dining Room there is an Outdoor Cafe, and the Club Salon. There is also a beauty salon and boutique. On Deck 4 guests will also find the refurbished Asian Spa, now seven times larger than it was and operated by Balinese-themed Mandara. The improved spa now has three treatment rooms, a beauty salon for one patron at a time, and a thalassotherapy tub that can be filled with warm, filtered seawater. Deck 5 has an open promenade that leads to the open bridge, while Deck 6 features a new, extended aft sun deck with the new Top of the Yacht Bar. There are now 18 double sun beds, which are elaborate, cushioned step-up beds with partitions, parasols and lights for night time reading. Teak recliners and a few hammocks are scattered about as well as tables for outdoor dining as well.

Cuisine:

Open-seating is offered in the dining room as well as the Topside Restaurant. This allows passengers to choose when and with whom to dine with. The service and cuisine is aimed to please all guests. Each can accommodate the full capacity of the ship at any given time, meaning there are no lines at any time. Dinner hours are 7-10 p.m while room service is available 24 hours a day.

During the "Champagne and Caviar Splash," the Captain and staff serve caviar (sevruga malossol) and champagne (Pommery) at no additional cost to guests at water's edge while the yacht is anchored off a secluded beach.

Service:

The staff is friendly, sincere and offers the absolute highest level of personal service. Caribbean sailings offer champagne and caviar that are set up on a floating surfboard where the waiters get in the water to take your order and deliver your requests!

Accomodations:

There are 55 suites/staterooms on board these yachts. Suites are 195 square feet, with sixteen of these that are convertible to Commodore Club Staterooms of 390 square feet. Baths are marble-lined, contain adequate shelves, and storage is available beneath the sink vanity. The shower is enclosed in glass, with multiple jets, and it is large enough for two.. The Owner's Suite of 450 square feet is located on Deck 3.and includes a separate bedroom, a living room with dining table, a bathroom with a tub and separate shower and a guest bathroom. All accommodations have a complimentary bar, stocked with the guests preferences, a marble-tiled shower with multiple jet massage showers, MP3 digital-music jukeboxes, flat-screen TV and DVD player, and personalized stationery. All accommodations are Internet-ready. There is one stateroom that is wheelchair-accessible with extra wide doors, no sills, emergency call buttons, and special bathroom facilities.

Spa/Fitness:

The spa has an Asian-style with a Thalasso therapy tub into which warm sea water is pumped, a health club with 4 elliptical treadmills mounted with flat screen TVs, free weights and 2 recumbent bikes. A personal trainer is available as well as on-deck tai chi, yoga and aerobics classes. SeaDream II has a retractable marina, which can be lowered when sea conditions are good. From there, guests can enjoy the sea on two-person inflatable kayaks, Wave Runners, Zodiac boats and water skis. Snorkeling gear is also available.

Children's Program:
SeaDream Yacht Club’s vessels are adult-oriented. Children are welcome, however there are very few on board. A "Kids Sail FREE" promotion is available during the summer on Europe cruises and others. These yachts are inappropriate for infants and toddlers. There is no dedicated children’s facility on board.

There is a small swimming pool at the rear and sun deck. You can't swim very far, but it becomes a social centre if its too hot. The staff will serve you drinks by the pool. The top deck suffers from limited shade, apart from that is very nice. Gym is quite large. Restaurant feels a little closed in. The organisation of the water sports seems a little chaotic, there was only one jet ski operating, which is in huge demand.The experience on SeaDream I is similar to a large private yacht.

Resort casual, which means jackets are not required at any time for men. Short and bathing suits are not allowed in indoor dining rooms and shoes are required.

Cruises on board SeaDream's yachts appeal to affluent, active travelers who enjoy the unpretentious, yet casually sophisticated atmosphere, creative cuisine, and refined service. Her guests well-heeled, sophisticated and youngish. SeaDream cruisers range in age from mid-40s to mid-60s, with the average being 46 years old. The weeklong itineraries appeal to those still working hard with limited vacation time while, at the same time, allow retired folks to combine cruises into 14-day voyages.
