The San Diego Cruise Ship Terminal is located at the foot of downtown's waterfront, named the Embarcadero. It is a major port located in southern California on San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The city started out as a remote Spanish mission but was later dominated by navy and marine bases. Today, San Diego has established itself as a strong leader in scientific research and a great place to live, retire, do business or visit. The great climate and historic attractions are enough to lure people to this fabulous city.

Over the past two decades, San Diego has become a cultural mecca, filled with activities and diversity. Prior to that, this region had a reputation for being a quaint & quiet Navy town. There is a huge naval base located here and a lot of the military have permanent homes in the city. San Diego is expanding more and more everyday.

San Diego was the first city established in California, making it a rich center for state and national heritage. Not only does the city have great beaches and great dining establishments, but there a number of state-of-the-art facilities that are being built or have already been built all over San Diego (such the Qualcomm Stadium).

This city features 70 miles of glorious coastline, and pleasant temperatures year round. It is an awesome stop for tourists. The possibilities here are endless, from swimming, windsurfing, snorkeling, kayaking, bicycling, to skating. Balboa Park and three world famous animal parks round out this magnificent city. The San Diego Zoo, San Diego Wild Animal Park, and Sea World are all wildlife
extravaganzas.
