Shopping
Naples is not really known for its shopping, however there are a few items available for the interested shopper.
Limoncello: The scent of lemon groves blow through the warm air in Naples. Take home a bottle of limoncello, the lemon liquor – and you’ll feel like you’ve captured a piece of southern Italy.
Carvings: For a souvenir with the personal touch, check out the carvings in Naples. Local carvers work with many fascinating textures: volcanic stone, mother-of-pearl, coral, and turtle shell. Locally made cameos are especially nice.
Pottery: Some visitors to the Amalfi Coast region cannot resist going home with loads of the local pottery: dinner plates, beautiful pitchers, and serving platters.
