Beaches:

There are great beaches in this district. All have different names, based on their location. Sound Bay is the longest and its name is derived from the sound of the waves as they hit the coral reef. Jenny Bay is a small bay with pink coral sand. Cocoplum Bay, the favorite of children and seniors because of the shallow water, its white sand and its blue/green waters. Rocky Cay is a small cay easily reachable by walking through the water. A ship that ran aground there some years ago, is today a habitat to many species to marine life.
Morgans Cave:

A small deep lake within a cave of coral rock. Infamous pirate Henry Morgan planned his various assaults on galleons from here. Bound with gold and destined for Europe. Where his treasure was hidden, is not exactly known, however some islanders affirm that it was in morgan´s cave.
The Cove:

A breathtaking place to watch the exquisite sunsets. The naval ships and cruise ships anchor here. This spot is an excellent diving spot.
Johnny and Haynes Cay:

Johnny Cay, a tiny island which can be seen from the main beach. A favorite spot for cruise passengers. The liveliest of the cays. Here you will find palm trees, music, food/drink and crystal clear waters.
To the East is Haynes Cay, a coal cay with many, many palms trees. Right next to it is the Acuario, a small sandy peaceful cay. Both of these are surrounded by the shades of palms and the color of the sea. There are plenty of water sports here.
Blowing Hole:

Located on the most southern tip of the Island. A natural phenomenon that is produced by a series of subterranean tunnels in the coral reef that come together at this point only a few meters from the sea. During high tide when a wave comes in through the tunnels with hard enough force, the compressed air within the tunnels comes rushing through the hole.
