My family, including my wife and eight year old daughter, enjoyed the Bahamas cruise aboard the Wonder. At the minute we entered this ship you could sense that Disney is very concerned with the health of their guests. They gave us towelettes to wash our hands at every corner of the ship. The Wonder has three main dining rooms where you rotate to a different one each night. Service was great but food was average.

I wasn't crazy about the first port of Nassua but it gave my daughter an appreciation on how good her life is considering the poverty we encountered. The city van tour lasted four long hours and you wanted to jump out after one hour. Disney's private island Castaway Cay, complete with a dock, made up for this experience as we had a great time enjoying the banana boat ride, snorkling, and Sting Ray adventures.

Disney programs were geared for families and we thought they were the best we have seen on other cruise vacations. The shows were exceptional and even gave the toughest critic (my wife) a smile to end the night. The last item I would point out is the firework show at sea. They claim they are the only cruise company that is allowed to perform this show and we are glad they get to.

Next time we will reduce the time spent at the Disney resorts and cruise more. We have already booked the seven-day Western Caribbean cruise in 2009 and believe we will book more with Disney. They are very customer oriented and organized to meet my expectations. We'll see if this carries over to the Magic.
